This is an interesting one. This deck was "professionally" cleaned and stained by a landscaper 2 days prior to this photo being taken.
He actually showed up while I was there to give an estimate to fix his bad work. The shiny mirror like reflection you see
is his attempt at applying stain. The deck was like a giant piece of fly paper and it would have never dried. He wanted to argue with me in front
of the customer that the deck was supposed to look that way. Long story short we removed his bad stain work and made everything good again.
This is what happens when a competitor of mine uses straight muriatic acid to try and remove some oil stains from a driveway. we were called to try and remedy the situation but the etching was so deep that there was nothing we could do.
